This maps shows the Mount Vernon, Upper Aljunied Road area comprising a mix of government/public buildings, private and HDB residential housing and educational institutes.
The left side of the map comprises mainly the now-exhumed former Bidadari Cemetery, the private landed housing estate of Sennett Estate (Lichi Avenue, Willow Avenue, Cedar Avenue and Butterfly Avenue), and Cedar Girl's Secondary and Primary Schools.
The upper-left part of the map is where the Mount Vernon Crematorium is located. To the right, is Mount Vernon Road which leads up to Mount Vernon Camp, home of the Gurka Contingent of the Singapore Police Force.
The lower-right quadrant comprises a mix of HDB housing (Upper Aljunied and Joo Seng Road) and commercial/industrial buildings, a number of which are warehouse-style furniture retail showrooms.
