This map shows the 'lower' numbered Lorongs (23 and below) area of Geylang as well as the mixed commercial / residential (HDB) precinct of Sims Drive / Sims Place / Lane.

This part of Geylang is the most active and crowded, human and vehicular traffic-wise. Eateries, durian/fruit stalls, seafood restaurants and coffeeshops abound in the stretch from Lorong 3 Geylang to Lor 5/7/9/11/13/15/17 and Lorong 19 Geylang. The seedier side of Geylang is concentrated in the lower even-numbered 'lorongs' : Lorong 4 Geylang, Lor 6/8/10/12/14/16/18 and Lorong 20. Lorong 22 serves as a continuation of the arterial Aljunied Road, bridging Geylang Road and Guillemard Road.

The major arterial roads serving this area are Sims Avenue, Geylang Road, Aljunied Road and Sims Way. Sims Way leads to the Kallang Bahru/Way / Aljunied exits/entrances of the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). Other roads in the area are Talma Road and Upper Boon Keng Road (seen near the upper-left edge of the map).

Aljunied MRT Station (EW9 of the East-West Line) is seen near the upper-right corner of the map.
