This area is the Mountbatten Road / National Stadium / Guillemard area. The lower-left quadrant is where the closed National Stadium stands. The stadium will be demolished and rebuilt as part of an integrated 'Sports Hub' in the area.
Roads around the stadium are Stadium Drive and Stadium Boulevard. Mountbatten Road leads southeast towards Fort Road and the East Coast Parkway (ECP) expressway. Nicoll Highway leads west off the left side of the map towards the city centre. Sims Way runs northwards to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), while Guillemard Road goes northeastwards to Geylang and the Paya Lebar / Tanjang Katong area.
