This map shows the Bukit Batok Central area - the town centre and retail/administrative hub of Bukit Batok Town, a largely HDB residential estate in the northwest of Singapore. Bukit Batok town is a hilly former quarry estate, hence the abundance of natural lush greenery and mini 'lakes' which are ponds formed from abandoned excavated quarries.

The central comprises the Bukit Batok bus interchange, Bukit Batok MRT Station (NS2 of the North-South Line), West Mall, Bukit Batok Community Library (located within West Mall), and the town council and HDB branch offices. The Jade, a private condominium is also located here, next to the MRT train station.

Near the top-right corner of the map (Bukit Batok Street 52), are two schools, Lianhua Primary School and Hillgrove Secondary School.

Bukit Batok West Avenue 2 and 3 leads to the north and west of the town respectively, while the avenues to the right edge of the map lead to east Bukit Batok.
