This area covers the Tuas industrial area and the western end of the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) which terminates to the Tuas Second Link.
The Tuas 2nd Link is the second land link, after the Causeway, between Singapore and Malaysia. Unlike the Causeway, it is a bridge (although not a suspended one) under which waters of the Johor Straits can flow freely. The bridge is elevated high enough off the water to allow ships and boats (below certain sizes) to travel through.
The Malaysian side calls the Tuas link 'Linkedua' which, unsurprisingly, translates to mean 'second link' in Bahasa Melayu.
The industrial area shown in the lower-right quadrant is part the bigger Tuas Industrial Zone/Area, which is really a western extension of the Jurong Industrial Estate. The road Tuas West Drive connects from the Tuas Second Link immigration checkpoint area to Pioneer Road which runs south and east towards Jurong.
